Stewardship and Financial Well-being: Guiding Faith-Based Investors on their Financial Journey

As a faith-based investor, your values and beliefs are at the core of our financial decisions. You want to invest in companies that align with your faith and principles, while also pursuing your financial goals. At Freitas Wealth Management Group, we specialize in providing financial services tailored to address the unique needs of faith-based investors. We understand the challenges and opportunities facing you and are here to help you align your investment with your values.

“Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this, they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.”

– 1 Timothy 6:17-19

Rooted In Biblical Principles

Our advisors provide financial planning advice rooted in biblical principles. For individuals who place their trust in the Bible, these principles offer clear guidance for fostering sound financial management, instilling confidence, and aligning their hearts and minds with God’s purposes. Our aim is to assist clients in integrating their faith with their financial decisions, ensuring that their wealth is managed in a manner that reflects their beliefs and values.

Five Transcendent Money Management Principles

It is estimated that there are about 2,350 verses in the Bible that address money, wealth, possessions, stewardship, generosity, and related topics. We believe these Biblical principles are always present, always relevant, and will never change. The following five transcendent money management principles are part of our core belief system for Biblical financial planning.

1. Spend less than you earn. (Proverbs 13:11)
2. Avoid the use of debt. (Proverbs 22:7)
3. Build margin – save. (Proverbs 6:6-8)
4. Set long-term goals. (Philippians 3:14)
5. Give Generously. (II Corinthians 8 and 9)

Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI) investing / Faith Driven Investing (FRI) has certain risks based on the fact that the criteria excludes securities of certain issuers for non-financial reasons and, therefore, investors may forgo some market opportunities and the universe of investments available will be smaller.
